The 45 SUPER operates at 40% higher pressure than the 45 ACP. There are standards that you must meet.
This particular load drives a 255 polymer coated Semi-Wadcutter style PC Bullet from 'King Shooters Supply' out of the barrel at 1,000 feet per second. The same speed as a heavily loaded, standard pressure 45 Colt. Which brings the 1911 handgun platform up to a whole new standard of performance.
